IMHO Canada is deeply committed to improving and developing primary health care throughout regions where such basic care is lacking. Support for local hospitals and clinics in providing basic, essential medicines to poor patients who lack the financial means of paying for such medicines is crucial. Additionally, support for local doctors, nurses, and health workers through provisions of incentive allowances and other general support enables these persons to work in very remote and disadvantaged communities. |
