IMHO Canada held its annual "Nalam Kappom" fundraising and awareness-raising event in Toronto in June 2010, with the local youth helping to drive the event and organizing display booths on various IMHO Canada efforts & areas of need for 2010.

On January 12, 2010, the impoverished Caribbean nation of Haiti was devastated by a massive 7.0 earthquake, causing immense destruction and suffering. The Canadian Ambassador recently inaugurated the new Heart Treatment Complex at the Jaffna Teaching Hospital, a joint venture between CIDA and IMHO.
