This 29-minute documentary entitled "Beacon of Hope" chronicles the work of the Jaffna Jaipur Centre for Disability Rehabilitation (JJCDR). The JJCDR is the only center providing prosthetic, orthotic devices, and orthopedic services in the Jaffna peninsula for over two decades. Also, the center provides mobility devices, physiotherapy services, microcredit loans, and student educational grants to the differently abled in our midst. The organization's mission is to reach out to people with limb loss/physical disabilites and empower them through a total rehabilitation program to restore their dignity, rights, and recognition.

This English-language video entitled "Hope in the Horizon" was produced in Jaffna and describes the need for a cardiac facility at Jaffna Teaching Hospital. IMHO is working with other international non-governmental organizations to raise funds for the construction of this facility.

This Tamil-language video from Jaffna documents the work done through IMHO's sponsorship of a nutrition program for underweight pregnant women. The video includes footage from classes conducted for nurses/midwives and for the expectant mothers on how to properly utilize the nutrition supplements. At the end, several beneficiaries of the program are interviewed.

Helping persons affected by war, poverty, and other hardship to reclaim their livelihoods not only leads to the ability to care for oneself and one's family, but also contributes greatly to their overall mental and physical health.
